Job Introduction
The post requires the successful applicant to also work with other members of staff, support staff, SENDCo, outside agencies and parents and carers to promote learning. Applicants should therefore have excellent written and oral communication skills and have a proven record of working effectively as part of a team.
We are looking for someone with the following attributes:

- Enthusiastic and highly motivated
- A warm, friendly and consistently clear approach to learning and behaviour management
- Ability to maintain a high level of support to enable access to the curriculum
- Helps children develop social skills and appropriate interactions with their peers
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- Can work closely with the class teacher, who will give guidance on the nature and extent of the support and supervision
- Is able to work independently and show initiative
- Has good time management and organisational skills
- Is able to keep succinct records of involvement
- At least GCSE or O level in Maths and English
- An understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding responsibilities.
