**Nursery Assistant-Nursery Nurse**

A position has become available for a qualified Nursery Nurse Practitioner at an independent children’s day nursery in Rochester, Kent.

This is an opportunity for an experienced Nursery Nurse / Nursery Assistant looking to take the next step in their career, in a role offering ongoing support, training and career development opportunities, a starting salary of £10.00 - £11.80 per hour, (negotiable),plus benefits.

**Position Details**

Your role:

- Working as part of a team promoting an enabling environment in which children can play, learn and develop
- Planning and delivering activities to extend and support children’s development and learning outcomes
- Carrying out observations, evaluating and recording children’s progress
- Planning and implementing next steps to support children’s development

What you will need:

- An NNEB, CACHE, EYT or an equivalent Early Years Practitioner / Teaching qualification
- An understanding of the EYFS, planning and assessment procedures
- An understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures
- Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
