Quarry Operative

Opportunity to join a small, local and friendly workforce at De Lank Quarry nr St Breward. De Lank Quarry is the only remaining, bespoke granite quarry in the UK and has supplied to some of the most famous landmarks in the country.

Job entails being part of a small Quarry Operations Team, primarily driving mobile plant including excavators and telehandlers to expand working areas within the quarry and extract block.

Helping to set up drill rigs and saws using static plant and hand tools.

Role will be primarily using plant, therefore experience and qualifications desirable. Training on all other aspects to be provided.

37+ hours per week, including paid holiday

Initial 3 months contract to be reviewed thereafter

Pay: £22,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
