Cyber Security Manager

As a Barclays Cyber Security Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Business Information Security Officer in delivering the Cyber Security agenda across the business. You will act as an enabler to maintain the Cyber Security agenda and accountablefor facilitating security posture communication, driving security awareness in the business, governance and reporting. Their main focus will be understanding the risk exposure for the transaction cycles we support and driving remediation activity as required.

**What will you be doing?**:

- Supporting the BISO by leading on influencing people within other teams to ensure that important initiatives are delivered in a timely fashion
- Facilitating the reporting of the status of our risk exposure and controling maturity against the relevant Policies and Standards
- Supporting and championing the provision of Information and Cyber Security SME advice and guidance to key stakeholders
- Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies
- Seeking ways to understand, mitigate or reduce risks, drawing on expert advice, risk assessment, and management reports
- Supporting with continuous development of Information and Cyber Security SME capability in line with needs and expectations
- Embeding security controls into business change to provide risk mitigation
**What we're looking for**:

- Experience working within the Information and Cyber Security field, including systems audit, internal controls and/ or security consulting
- Experienced at implementing or managing risk management processes and tools
- Actively seeks ways to understand, mitigate or reduce risks, drawing on expert advice, risk assessment, and management reports
- Experience in leading and managing multiple stakeholders within a complex matrix environment across multiple geographies
**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Good understanding of cyber security risk management with exposure to industry standards such as NIST, ISO27001
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and influencing skills and ablility to work with Executive committees, senior stakeholders and 3rd party vendors
- Integrity and trustworthiness in order to maintain the team's reputation and standing
- Solid problem solving ability to address new situations and efficiently handle any incidents which may arise

You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations.
