**Position Overview**:
We are looking for a proactive and driven Senior HR Advisor with a focus on Employee Relations to join our dedicated HR Central team. The role will provide a comprehensive, effective and professional Employee Relations support service to managers and employees. You'll be working in collaboration with the HR Central Team and the HR Business Partners to ensure the delivery of a seamless and efficient service to all areas of the business, developing tools and support materials to empower managers.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Responsible for supporting and advising the business on employee relations issues including but not limited to dispute resolution, disciplinary, grievances, absence management, and performance management
- Develop trusted relationships with managers in the business and be the key point of contact for ER advice and issues.
- Advise managers on management practice and ensure compliance with policies and procedures including in Employee Relations issues
- Suggest recommendations on the outcome of investigations
- Keep up to date and share best practice on employment law activity. Attend and support at formal meetings
- Updating Company policies and procedures in timely manner with legislation and business changes and maintained according to ISO standards. Effectively communicate these changes
- Liaison with external legal counsel
- Responsible for ensuring the shared drives, employee files and relevant trackers are maintained and up to date
- Ensure the HR system (Oracle) is kept up to date and accurate and provide reports from Oracle on request
- Ensure all employees have the right to work, and DBS checks
- Managing consultation process for organisational change activities
- Proactively drive continuous improvement initiatives for the HR Central team.
- Deliver coaching and knowledge to leaders and employees within the business.
- Support with regular internal audits

**Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources/ Minimum of CIPD level 5, ideally level 7.
- Previous, progressive HR experience with a focus on Employee Relations
- Experience of working in a matrix environment
- Experience of managing and advising on simple and complex Employee Relations activities including but not limited to Performance Management, Grievances, Disciplinary, Absence Management
- Up to date knowledge of employment law
- A commercial, risk aware and driven mindset

**Job Dimentions**:

- This is a full time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- This is a hybrid role as per our Working Arrangements Policy and will be based in the Oxford site with travel to Thame.
- This role will report to the HR Manager and will be part of the wider HR Central Team.
