Being the first point of contact with our customers, the role of Despatcher requires you to have excellent communication skills and a friendly manner, as well as being polite, courteous and organised. You will be required to deal with customers face to face and over the telephone confidently as well as direct them to the appropriate department or person efficiently.

Duties will include organising multiple Breakdowns and accidents quickly and efficently sending the right vehicle and driver to the job using Apex Software. For the role you will need good geographical knowledge and be able to manage drivers, and monitor them using Tracking software. Liasing with Garages, Bodyshops, Insurance companies and Motoring Organisations also.

The role will also entail taking bookings via phone and internet systems, organising workshop diaries, invoicing and payments, dealing with customers, general admin and paperwork to help with the running of the workshop.
The job role will also involve interaction with the workshop, dealing with technicians, parts and aiding the running of our busy workshops.

A full driving licence is required as there are occasions where customers vehicles need to be moved or driven.
Training will be given.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
- Strong customer service skills required.
- Strong organizational skills required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Experience with Microsoft Office required (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with Transportation Management preferred but not required.
