Hebron Hall is a Christian centre on a seven-acre campus in Dinas Powys. Established in 1983 as an independent non-denominational charity, our site includes a conference centre for residential and day groups, a care home for up to 39 residents, management of 15 independent living units, 9 tenanted properties, a swimming pool, sports hall and tennis courts.

We are looking for a full-time Events Co-ordinator to support the management team of Hebron Hall in the efficient administration of our centre to ensure that the needs of the Charity, our staff, residents and visitors are met.

As Events Co-ordinator, you will:

- co-ordinate and organise all conferences, events and lettings
- liaise with colleagues to confirm availability of site facilities for the appropriate time
- provide tours of the facilities to potential clients in order to determine their requirements
- follow up and confirm bookings
- liaise with parties to determine required accommodation, rooming and bed schedules as well as any catering requirements
- prepare and issue quotes and contracts
- manage booking fees, liaising with clients and the Finance team to raise invoices and manage debtors
- plan and manage turn rounds from one event to the next
- maintain and update the events diaries and ensure all records are kept and updated

In order to fulfil the role, you will need:

- good literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE Maths & English)
- intermediate level MS Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- honesty, integrity and attention to detail
- ability to work comfortably in a faith-based organisation
- ability to meet deadlines
- ability to communicate clearly and empathise with guests when issues arise
- ability to show tact, diplomacy and discretion
- ability to work as part of a team but equally comfortable working on your own
- a wholehearted commitment to the ministry of Hebron Hall
- confidence and not afraid of making good sound business decisions
- marketing and social media experience preferred but not essential
