**The role**

We’re looking for a reliable and professional Van Delivery Driver/Warehouse Operative to join our team in Ringmer. In this varied role, you’ll support both warehouse operations and customer deliveries. From picking, packing, and keeping the warehouse clean and safe, to carrying out vehicle checks and delivering orders on time, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our customers receive safe, high-quality products and excellent service

**What You Will Be Doing**

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Carrying out daily vehicle, equipment, and safety checks before and after shifts.
- Driving responsibly, following road safety regulations and company delivery schedules.
- Loading, securing, and unloading goods with care, including chilled and frozen products.
- Using handheld devices to record deliveries and capture proof of delivery.
- Providing friendly and professional service to customers, resolving delivery queries where needed.
- Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and reporting any issues promptly.
- Wearing PPE and representing the company brand with professionalism at all times.

**Warehouse Responsibilities**
- Receive, pick, pack, and correctly store goods in the warehouse and on vehicles.
- Rotate stock effectively to prevent expiry.
- Pick and pack orders for customers and suppliers.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Keep paper records up to date, including cleaning records, temperature checks, and forklift checks.

**Person Specification**
- Full, clean appropriate driving license
- Physically fit and able to handle heavy loads safely.
- Positive, can-do attitude with flexibility to adapt to changing demands.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
- Strong team player with excellent customer service skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Punctual and reliable with a professional work ethic.
