**Who are we**:We are a non-for-profit organisation who teaches languages to older adults in care homes day centres and retirement communities? Recent research shows that speaking a second language can postpone the effects of dementia by up to 5 years. We therefore use foreign languages as a vehicle to empower the minds of older adults, proving that you can teach an old dog new tricks.

**Who we are looking for**:We are looking for compassionate, creative and driven speakers of French and/or Gaelic to teach tailored language classes to older adults in care homes and day centres in and around Edinburgh.

It is based on a contract driven basis to teach sessions of up to 10 weeks. Each Session will be one hour per week. Total teaching will be no more than 3 hours a week. Due to doing outreach projects having a clean driving license and access to a car is necessary.
