**Production Packing Operative (Food) - Full Time/ Part Time shifts available, Monday to Friday**
**£11.28 - £11.65 per hour plus benefits**

As a **Production Packing Operative**, your primary objective is to ensure that the products manufactured at our **‘Fresh Kitchen’** facility are handled and managed to the production schedules. Your key focus will be on product quality, legality and safety - not to mention overall presentation and compliance to our customers’ requirements. **We are currently looking for full time & part time packing operatives to work Monday to Friday with overtime available.**
As a Production Packing Operative with us here in Bicester, you’ll enjoy:
- ** Responsibility. **You’ll not** **only be packing and filling products into a variety of different packaging types (following specific guidelines), but also completing the paperwork associated with it. We want you to ‘own’ your job and maintain the quality, legality and safety of the food manufactured across our sites.
- ** Variety.** Working closely with your Production Operative colleagues, you’ll be in contact with vegetables, meats, fish and various mixes, working across chilled and hot production areas. We can allocate you to any part of the packing or production process, and you might find some roles repetitive. We will also ask you to support with batch coding and stock takes.

- ** Excellent and ongoing training. **As well as a full induction, you will be trained to use any of the equipment we need you to use if required. We will make sure you understand why our Health, Safety and Hygiene policies are in place in terms of legislation, and we’ll provide all your Personal Protective Equipment too.
To join us as a Production Packing Operative, you’ll have a good understanding of food and possibly have some previous experience in a similar role. You will also need to be highly numerate, physically fit (there will be bending, lifting, stretching, and standing) with a flexible can-do approach. More importantly, we ask for you to be customer focussed and solutions driven, with good attention to detail.
