Our **Warehouse** department manages all aspects of storage and stock management, as well as incoming and outgoing deliveries. We are looking to add a **Warehouse Operative** to this busy and fast paced team.
**As a Warehouse Operative your responsibilities will include, although not limited to**:
- Perform ‘Goods-out’ procedure in response to customer orders ensuring that all required product checks are performed, and the correct documentation is enclosed.
- Pick products as listed on the picking list, according to First expiry, First out, (FEFO) principles and checking the condition, description, quantities, and expiry date of products picked.
- Pack products safely and securely ensuring boxes and/or pallets are labelled with storage and handling conditions as appropriate.
- Book stock out of the inventory on the warehouse system (ERP) once ready for delivery.
- Delivering Customer orders and collecting stock from suppliers whilst ensuring that products are handled and stored according to Good Distribution Practice (GDP) during transit.
- Perform regular stock checks and identify and report stock discrepancies.
- Adhere to the principles of Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and Company policies and procedures
- Receive Goods checking product integrity
- Book into the ERP system ensuring that all required product checks are performed, and the correct documentation is received.
**To be successful in this role, you should be able to demonstrate**:
- The ability to work methodically, quickly, accurately, and safely.
- The ability to work as part of a team but also on your own initiative.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- IT Literate.
- Forklift license preferred.
- Experience with stock management software
- Experience working in a regulated environment
**Hours of work**: Monday - Friday 08.00 - 17.00
