Are you an experienced technologist from within têxtiles? Do you have a relevant degree in technical têxtiles? Can you build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders? Working alongside a dynamic team, we’re looking to find a driven individual who will join as a Textile Technologist. **What You Get** - A salary of up to £35K DOE. - 22 days holiday + your birthday off if it falls on a weekday. - Additional holiday accrual incentives which run throughout the year. - Positive attendance awards. - Life Insurance. - Enhanced Maternity / Paternity. - Electric Car Scheme + free onsite charging. - Wellness schemes and free Flu jabs (if required). **About The Job** - You will join as a Technologist. - You’ll research new and more sustainable fabrics and materials as well as looking at current production processes to keep the costs down. - Keeping up to date with technical innovations, you’ll work closely with the design team and your key customers to meet their technical requirements. - Liaising with both the internal and external laboratory to ensure testing requirements are adhered. - You’ll bridge the gap between your customers, suppliers to ensure quality is maintained. - You will determine the relevant test methods required to meet your customers’ needs. - You will work with the wider team to identify any issues or improvements for the products and provide solutions for these. **About You** - You’ll have previous experience with ensuring the best quality for products. - You will have a degree or HND in têxtile technology or similar. - Naturally you will have a keen eye for detail with an analytical mind, giving you the ability to anticipate any upcoming issues - We need someone with enthusiasm, ambition, and determination. - You will be experienced in creating product specifications, overseeing the product from creation, through to sample, to production approvals against customer requirements. - It goes without saying that you’ll be a champion for sustainability and ethical manufacturing. - You will live in the Greater Manchester area to be within commutable distance to the office in Bury. - It’s essential that you’re happy working onsite Monday to Friday. **About The company** - They are an ethical têxtile manufacturer who use sustainable products to make their in-demand products. - They have been awarded the Carbon Literate Bronze certification and are part of the "1% for the planet" partnership. - They’re currently undergoing a BCorp Accreditation.
