Our Head Office is based at Newbridge, Edinburgh, with depots across Scotland and Manchester. We operate through 6 divisions incorporating Plant, Handling, Access, Accommodation, Power and Commercial Vehicles. **The Role of Plant Fitter (Workshop based)**:
Responsible for the servicing and maintenance of our plant hire fleet/machinery and our wide range of construction equipment, the main duties within this include:

- Professionally and effectively checking and diagnosing mechanical problems
- Repairing and replacing of faulty parts
- Conducting routine maintenance in line with company standards
- Provide the best possible turnaround for Off Hires
- Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations, including safety checks, implementing safe working procedures, and escalating further concerns to supervisor/ plant operation manager.
- Ensuring high quality company standards and understanding the impact of great customer service.

**Are you the right person for this role?**
- The role of Plant Fitter is a _**skilled trade position**_, therefor the following skills/qualifications and experience is required: _
- A solid understanding of mechanics, hydraulics, and electrical systems and in the operations of heavy plant machinery
- You will be qualified to (S)NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent
- Be a CSCS Gold Card holder
- Experience gained in the Plant Industry
- Have experience with Heavy Rollers, Rotos, Telehandlers
- An effective communicator, specifically in explaining technical issues
- The ability to work in a busy environment
- Customer focused
