We are looking for enthusiastic Retail Assistants to join our amazing team at our site in Burnley.

We are looking for people who have a passion for retail, customer service and above all delivering the successful Butchers Fayre brand to our existing and new customers. **Job Title**: Retail Assistant

**Reports to**:Store Manager

**Overall purpose**:To assist in the effective delivery and performance of Butchers Fayre

**Main activities**:

- Providing a high standard of customer care every shift
- Carrying out stock rotation, checking the dates of products regularly.
- Ensuring store shelves are maintained, cleaned frequently and are fully stocked
- Liaising with the store supervisor and manager on any issues
- Maintaining the stores records for deliveries and temperature checks.
- **Competencies**:

- Previous experience in retail
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to adapt to new ways of working
- Reasonable level of literacy and numeracy skills.
- Motivated to work with minimum supervision
- Ability to work within a team and have a flexible approach to work practices.

Hours: 28 over Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 28 per week

**Salary**: £9.30 per hour
