**Job overview**:
In November 2016, NHS England published Healthy Children: Transforming Child Health Information. The Strategy set out a vision for how Child Health Information Services can support both parents and professionals in providing the highest quality care for children and young people (Healthy Children: Transforming Child Health Information, NHS England 2016). The vision outlined the ambition for Child Health Information Services to achieve 2 main objectives; knowing where every child is and how healthy they are and appropriate access to information for all involved in the care of children. To enable Child Health Information Services to achieve these objectives the Strategy describes the development of a Digital Child Health Hub to replace the current configuration of Child Health Information Services.
**Main duties of the job**:
We are looking to recruit a Child Health Information Service Data Quality Administrator to support the ongoing data quality improvement plan in relation to information held within the Child Health Information Service System. The role will support the verification and updating of key public health information, received from various sources.

- Educated to GCSE or equivalent
- Relevant Business or Administration Qualification or equivalent to NVQ Level 3
**Desirable criteria**:
- European Computer Driving Licence
**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:
**Essential criteria**:
- Demonstrable administration experience within an office environment
- Accurate and efficient IT and keyboard skills.
- Effective interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly with a wide variety of colleagues both verbally and in writing.
- Able to operate independently and as part of a team
- Experience of dealing with sensitive and confidential information with an understanding of data protection legislation
- Experience of utilising Child Health Information Systems
**Desirable criteria**:
- Experience of working within a Public Sector organisation
- Previous experience of data quality role
- Significant Microsoft excel exposure - comparisons of datasets
