We are recruiting for Setter Technicians with experience of operating and setting complex equipment within a fast-moving GMP production environment (i.e., pharmaceuticals, food or cosmetics).

We would also like to hear from you if you have other production experience and are keen to develop your technical skills and experience in a regulated environment (GMP).

As a Packaging Setter Technician, you will be:

- Taking ownership and responsibility for all aspects of setting and running the line to ensure production runs smoothly. When not setting machines, you will be working on packaging lines as part of the wider team.
- Changing tooling and setting up machines in a uniform, efficient and safe manner following all GMP and Health and safety protocols.
- Ensuring the storage of all machine change parts is correctly carried out.
- Cleaning the equipment and the work area.
- Completing batch processing documents and performing simple mathematical calculations.
- Moving and lifting components and equipment, using mechanical aids as appropriate.

We would like to hear from you if your background, experience, and skills include:

- Setting experience in the pharmaceutical industry. For example, working with Noack machines and Ulhmann Cartoners.
- Experience of operating and setting experience from a similar GMP environment such as Food manufacturing or Cosmetics.
- Or production experience in a factory environment and are keen to develop technical skills and experience
- Mechanical aptitude
- Reconciliation skills.
- Good general standard of education, specifically in English language and maths. As you will be completing batch processing documents and performing simple mathematical calculations.
- Able to follow instructions with accuracy.
- Team player who enjoys and works well within a small team.
- Self-motivated and proactive with a positive attitude

Hourly rate starting from £11.46 (Annual salary £23,830.56) including 14% shift allowance

Rotating Monday to Friday shift pattern (40 hours per week)

Early shift: 6.30am to 14.30pm Monday to Friday and late shift: 2.00pm to 10.00pm Monday to Friday

Ideally located for transport links via A27, main Brighton & Hove bus routes or Moulsecoomb/Falmer railway stations
