Female Personal Care Assistant / Support Worker required to assist an adult with Disabilities living in the Bellshill area.

You would be required to provide one to one care and assistance within their home, including attending to personal careand a participation in social activities. Your duties would involve assisting with tasks such as:

- Attending to all personal care needs (showering, and **stoma care**, shaving)
- Assisting with medication and supplements
- Preparing meals and healthy snacks
- Light Exercise
- Moving and assisting - pushing manual wheelchair
- General House Work
- Any other daily living tasks to promote independent living

Driver essential and you will be required to use your own vehicle - mileage allowance will be paid OR you may be required to drive a motability vehicle.
- The role requires close personal contact with an individual who is vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission. Preference will be given to applicants who have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19._

Must take a proactive and innovative approach to support and encourage individual to be involved in activities suited to their needs.

Pets in the household - you must be comfortable working with a dog in the home.

Experience is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.

The most important qualities are a warm and friendly nature and a desire to work within a caring role.

Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

**Hours of Work (with a degree of flexibility)**

Recruiting for 1 positions.

Guaranteed permanent position of 20 hours per week. Hours may increase as needed

**Days and times**:
Set shifts at set times OR weekly rota

Typically - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 11am till 3pm and occasional Saturday (morning)

Occasional weekends and evenings may be required - to be discussed at interview

**Hourly rate**:
£15.00 per hour
