Arup are an independent firm of designers, planners, engineers, consultants and technical specialists offering a broad range of professional services. Arup are currently looking for Project Assistant working within the Rail department based in the Manchesteroffice working on the Transpennine Route Upgrade project.

We partner with Arup to support contingent recruitment processes. On behalf of Arup, we are looking for a Project Assistant for a 12 Monthcontract.

**Responsibilities for Project Assistant**
- General Administration support (including reports/organograms/presentations)
- Organising meetings - one to one, APLT and whole team meetings; via teams and in Alliance meeting rooms or larger venues as required.
- Team communications, including Project Team Newsletter, Quarterly Team Brief and sharing updates with the team, social events, charity events
- File structure audits
- Spreadsheet management / deliverables trackers
- Updating the Intranet site and advocating its wider use
- Involvement with the Working as One Team Goal
- Minute taking where required
- Support with organising Construction Briefs
- Collaborative working, a role model, and advocate of the Alliance Charter.

**Essential Skills and Qualifications for Project Assistant**:

- Ability to work in collaborative environment and commitment to an alliance way of working
- Experienced with Word, PowerPoint and MS Teams
- Commitment to safety
- Experienced communicator
- Adaptable and solution focused

**Desirable Skills and Knowledge for Project Assistant**:

- Knowledge/experience of working in an Alliance
- Knowledge/experience of Excel
