Applications are invited for the position of Clinical Training Lead for the JAG Accredited Kent and Medway Endoscopy Training Hub. This is a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Gastroenterologist or Surgical Consultant with a strong interest in education and service improvement to lead the endoscopy training programme both locally and across the wider region.

The JAG Accredited Kent and Medway Endoscopy Training Hub forms an integral part of the South East Endoscopy Training Academy (SEETA) and plays a vital role in the design, coordination and delivery of high-quality training for the endoscopy workforce. We work in close partnership with neighbouring hospitals and regional stakeholders to ensure accessible, standardised and effective training across the South East.

Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust is a large acute hospital trust in the south east of England. The Trust was legally established on 14 February 2000 and provides a full range of general hospital services, and some areas of specialist complex care to around 760,000 people living in the south of west Kent and the north of East Sussex. It also provides specialist care including ophthalmology, stroke and sexual health services to a wider population. The Trust’s Chair is Annette Doherty, the Chief Executive is Miles Scott and the Medical Director is Dr Sara Mumford.
