**About us**:Alternative Airlines is an online travel agency that specialises in selling flights to anyone across the world. Alternative Airlines is enjoying a period of high growth driven by its US business and whilst demand for global air travel is currently reduced on account of the circumstances, we are excited for the recovery as country borders are opened and travel restrictions are lifted.
The role: We’d like a Digital Marketing Intern to join our highly-creative Customer Acquisition & Marketing team. In the competitive space of travel, our team has to innovate and come up with clever and interesting ways to acquire new customers. If you have outside-the-box thinking, a passion for marketing and a hunger to learn, this role is for you.
Our team predominantly works remotely. We will require you to come into the office for a minimum of 1-2 days a week, however, we are flexible.
The role will include:
- Maintaining and optimising existing landing pages for SEO and organic search
- Working with other members of the team on marketing campaigns for product launches and partnerships
- Backlink and competitor analysis and keyword research
- Social media
- Expanding your knowledge of digital marketing channels (we have a strong focus on SEO and partnerships but create work for all channels)
- Develop and use knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console and SEO tools to track and analyse traffic trends and performance
- Our team moves quickly and loves exploring new ideas — so be prepared to try out new things
- Full training is provided
Essential Requirements
- A passion for digital marketing
- An interest in learning and developing knowledge and skills
- You must love writing and creating content
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure, with strong organisational and planning skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, with good verbal and written communication
- Self-starter and ability to work independently
- Creative and willing to generate ideas
