**_The Role: _**

As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be working at the heart of the business ensuring all goods are supplied to our customers and stores on time. Accuracy is a key, alongside good timekeeping qualities and a “can-do” attitude.

You will need to be able to work well in a team and occasionally on your own.

**_Key Responsibilities: _**
- Preparing and packing items for dispatch or pickup accurately, on time and in accordance with instructions.
- Load and unload vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
- Receive, check, identify and put stock away into its appropriate location
- Performing warehouse stock checks
- To use all equipment provided in a safe and correct manner, in accordance with Company procedures and safety rules.
- Ensure that warehouse, stock and equipment is kept clean and safe
- Updating the Warehouse inventory system
- Making store deliveries as and when required

**_Knowledge & Requirements: _**
- At least 1 year of working experience in a warehouse environment is preferable
- Numerical literacy and reading skills
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job - Manual Handling
- Computer literate
- Good level of English
- Keen eye for detail
- Being a self-starter with a high level of energy
- Team player with strong, consistent work ethic
- Energy, enthusiasm, positive, commitment and a can-do flexible attitude
- Quick and effective problem solver
- Work well under pressure and have the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to do overtime on festive periods

**Salary**: £10.00-£12.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus scheme

**Experience**:

- Warehouse: 2 years (required)
- Customer support: 2 years (preferred)
- Delivery driver: 2 years (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (required)
