Blue Angel Care is looking for people who share our passion for helping others to become Care Givers in Eastleigh and Winchester Area. Working with clients in their homes, you’ll provide personal care to people with a wide range of needs, illnesses and disabilities. But, more than anything else, you’ll provide a source of comfort and confidence, as well as an attentive ear and a warm smile.

About the role

What makes being a Blue Angel Care Giver interesting is that no two days are alike. While the work can sometimes be challenging, we can promise that it will always be fulfilling.

On a typical day, you could be:

- Helping clients in/out of bed and chairs
- Turning clients to relieve pressure areas
- Helping clients wash, bath and shower
- Heling clients dress, undress and use aids/personal equipment
- Assisting with toileting, continence management and personal hygiene
- Preparing food and drink for a client
- Providing contact, companionship and communication to isolated clients

At the same time, we know care is highly individual. So you’ll be trusted to use your autonomy and discretion to support clients in a person-centred, highly individual way.

About you

Every Blue Angel Care Giver has a genuine passion for helping people be at their best. But no two Care Givers are alike. We value the things that make you individual - the unique traits that turn care visits into rich, personal experiences for our clients.

As a foundation, you’ll be:

- Ready to join a family-run business that puts clients first
- 18+ with the right to work in the UK
- A natural communicator, both with clients and the rest of the team
- Flexible in your working hours, with evening and weekend work required
- A licensed driver or access to your own transport
- Ready to be an active participant in regular meetings and training courses
- Prepared to undergo a DBS check before joining

- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends only
