**Location: Fairfield/Kensington**
**Salary: £9.30 - £9.53 per hour depending on NVQ qualifications**

**Hours: Full time Waking nights working 10pm - 8am**

**The Role**

Working overnight, you will be there to provide emotional and physical support when needed to 2 males who have Learning disabilities and mental health issues. The role can be challenging and you are there to provide emotional support during a crisis, to have a chat over a cup of tea, to help them out of bed or just be a friendly face to give reassurance. You will also ensure the person is safe and well and the property is secure.
- Support with morning routines such as dressing, washing, and cooking, whilst promoting independent living.
- Cleaning and tidying and carrying out checks on safety and risks.
- Administering medication as required.
- Ensuring safeguarding responsibilities are met and to protect the persons right to live safely and free from abuse or neglect.

**The Person**
- Previous experience is desirable but not essential as full training is provided.
- Warm, caring nature. Passionate and committed to making a positive difference in people’s lives is essential.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
- Good sense of humour in sometimes difficult situations.
- Patience and understanding.
