An existing client, a local leading construction and engineering company has sought our assistance once again, this time to find an experienced Estimator looking to expand their skills and progress within their company.

**JOB TITLE**: Estimator

**JOB TYPE**: Permanent

**SALARY**: £30,000 - £40,000 DOE

**COMPANY TYPE**: Construction / Engineering

**HOURS**: Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm and Friday 8am - 4pm

**LOCATION**: Aylesford

**DUTIES**:

- Researching the cost of items such as materials, transport, labour and equipment
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with contractors and vendors
- Getting quotes from suppliers and contractors within a specified time frame
- Assessing the risk levels associated with a project
- Preparing and submitting quotations and details of costs for work to be done
- Assisting with bids for new contracts and supporting the activities of buyers
- Monitoring the costs at the different stages of a project to ensure it stays within the estimated costs

**WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR**:

- Proven experience within an Estimating role
- Experience within the Construction or Engineering industry although not essential this is desired
- A friendly person that can work well in a team but also alone
