Employed within the Support Unit the responsibilities will include assisting the main accommodation store account holder for all things' accommodation related. This includes issues, receipts and stock checks. As the assistant accommodation stores assistant, you will help the team achieve the Support Units mission statement to “To provide the infrastructure, equipment, welfare and administrative support to the Headquarters within Marlborough Lines in order that they can conduct and support the military capability to operations worldwide." This position is advertised at 37 hours per week **Job description**: Assist the senior store person in maintaining the clothing account electronically using the bespoke computer system. Be aware of demand, receipt, and issue procedures on the electronic stores accounting system. Security control for all material items and equipment held as Attractive to Criminals and Terrorist Organisations (ACTO). Maintain individuals’ personal holdings on the electronic computer system. Be familiar with the procedures for disposal and back loading of stores. Facilitate checking officers in their managerial checks as required. Assist in de-kits of soldiers Be prepared to attend all training courses.
