**We are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Administrator to join our team in Rotherham. This will be a part time position of between 20-25 hours per week. with a salary of £26,000 pro-rata.**
**Responsibilities**
- Check invoices for validity / values /order numbers / vat numbers / approved supplier. Check goods received match invoiced goods.
- Logging of invoices, Accurate data entry, Match relevant delivery notes to invoices.
- Ensure invoices are not invoiced in advance of receipt of goods.
- Ensure all invoices without purchase orders are authorised by the correct department manager, within their limits.
- Post invoices to ledger checking general ledger coding.
- Communicate invoice queries to relevant departments until resolved.
- Request credit notes and ensure query invoices are held pending resolution.
- Ensure credit notes are taken against the correct invoices when paid.
- Post purchase ledger payments made to supplier accounts.
- Prepare payment reports in line with supplier terms BACS.
- Respond to supplier queries chasing payment, ensuring communication is maintained.
- Close ledger to strict timetable, ensuring all invoices received are posted
- Reconcile to General Ledger.
- Month end reporting.
- Ensure Accounts Payable Accrual report is accurate and clear where necessary on a quarterly basis, reconcile to general ledger.
**Experience Required**
- Good analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail & highly organized.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written.
- Good IT skills, Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Must have a minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.
