Quality Inspector

Pertemps are seeking Quality Inspectors to join our client’s team in Newport, Shropshire. You will be responsible for ensuring that the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) plan is correctly followed and all associated paperwork is completedon time and in full.
You must report any non-conforming product and advise corrective actions.
**Responsibilities _not limited to_**:

- Carry out daily CCP and Quality checks and complete all paperwork accurately, clearly and on a timely basis.
- Ensure that all products produced meet customer specifications.
- Inform management of recurring issues and recommend remedial actions regarding raw material and finished product quality.
- Ensure any non-conforming product is dealt with correctly and efficiently.
- If unable to resolve yourself, report any Technical or QC issues to the Technical Manager.
- Ensure good manufacturing practices and the Clean as you go policy is followed.
- Ensure all operatives are wearing PPE and maintaining a good level of personal hygiene.
- Carry out the daily taste panel and the reporting of results.
- Conduct and monitor daily temperature checks of the factory.
- Lead by example and maintain staff and factory hygiene to a high standard.
- Ability to travel to and from work.
- Flexible to work in any area as directed.
- HACCP & Food Hygiene Level 2 _advantageous._
- Excellent communicator of English - written and verbally.
- Able to cope under pressure.

**Hours**5 days out of 7. 06:00-14:00. _Must be flexible to work shifts including weekends as required._
**Salary**£9.84-10.89p/h _experience dependant._
- O/T rates paid after 48 working hours. _£14.76-16.34
