**A* **Warehouse QC Operative *is required in Morley, Leeds. Sayjo Recruitment Ltd are acting on behalf of a client to recruit an experienced quality control, warehouse operative for their busy team.

Our client is a well-established company based in Morley area, they offer an opportunity to join a great team with a diverse work load, from picking, quality checks, stores to despatch.

Reporting to the Production Manager, this role requires you to support teams in manufacturing and warehouse with a variety of tasks to ensure all products are managed to the highest standards. It's a physically demanding role, our client manufactures wooden frames and upholstery items, which will need wrapping and moving within the factory.

**Job Purpose**:
To support both the production team and the warehouse team to achieve order fulfilment to the highest standards.
- Performing full quality control checks on products, wrap packaging, tickets and paperwork for stock allocations and despatch.
- Occasional assistance on the production lines to load fabrics or wood for the skilled machinists.
- Occasional use of the counter balance FLT, so a RTITB or ITSAR Counter balance licence is required.
- Use the computer system to put stock into location and get a pick list to fulfil customer orders.
- Work with supervisors and management to implement plans for continuous improvement in the factory and comply with the manufacturing and Quality standards required.

**Experience and skills required**:

- Good level of fitness and ability to lift furniture all day every day.
- Counter Balance FLT licence
- Previous experience of using a work computer system to understand orders in progress.
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance.
- To work with all staff in maintaining 5s standards, and operate a 'clean as you go' regime aimed at providing an 'any visit, any time' standard.

**Hours of work**:
Monday - Thursday 07.30am - 4.45pM/Friday 7.30am - 11.30am

**Pay & Benefits**:
£12.00 to £13 per hour depending on experience. Stakeholder Pension

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £12.00-£13.00 per hour
