Senior Barista

Mermaids is an independent coffee shop & roastery with two sites based on the picturesque banks of the River Hamble, Hampshire. We small batch hand roast our own coffee and bake our own cakes and treats. We have two coffee shop sites, one in Premier Universal Marina, the other at Warsash Village Quay; both on the Swanwick to Warsash coastal footpath.

**Skills and requirements**:

- A genuine interest in and passion for coffee and the enthusiasm to share this with customers
- Barista experience and ability to pour latte art
- Able to work independently
- Good spoken and written English
- Great customer service skills
- Ability to work at speed and under pressure

**Responsibilities**:

- Making coffees on our La Marzocco espresso machines
- Using the till
- Assisting with food prep and basic baking
- Coffee shop opening and closing procedures
- Provide consistently excellent customer service
- Cleaning Duties
