**Pricing Specialist**

**Purpose of the role**

Within DePuy Synthes (DPS) Commercial Excellence we provide commercial support to both internal partners and external customers. We partner with all of our different teams to help the business keep growing and make important decisions to meet the needs of our customers, making every penny count.

This role delivers aspects of the Pricing functions from the end-to-end process of Price Setups, issuing Pricing Contracts and Quotations. The role will also support the DPS Synthes Commercial Excellence by providing support as required including a mix of routine and ad hoc requests as business demands dictate.

**What to expect**:

- Price Setups_

Manage all workflows through the Pricing Cycle ensuring completeness and accuracy

Amend System Price setups for List Prices changes, Product Substitutions, New Product Introductions, Line Extensions, Contract Management exercises & other changes

Run and create Credit Analysis Reports when required, and raise these credits on JDE (Invoicing system)
- Pricing Contracts_

Issue Pricing Contracts

Ensure all Pricing is authorised and approved prior to issuing contracts

Ensure all SOX compliance responsibilities are met when offering a price
- Quotations_

Issue Quotation documents

Ensure all quotations are authorised and approved prior to issuing

Ensure all SOX compliance responsibilities are met when offering a one-off quotation price

Work with J&J Finance to issue operational and financial lease documentation when required along quotations for capital purchases
- Stakeholder Relationships_

Strong relationships to be formed with Commercial and Sales Organization

Collaborate as required with other departments such as Customer Services, Legal and Finance

Maintain strong working relationships with the Contracting & Tenders Team

**Qualifications**

**Who are we looking for?**

Experience of working within a Pricing or Finance/Commercial Role

JDE

Knowledge of EU Legislation regarding procurement is beneficial

Willingness to travel, and attend meetings as required

Good understanding of commercial and pricing strategies for the DePuy Synthes orthopaedic product portfolio

Advanced user of MS Office

High attention to detail and numeric accuracy

Strong and confident communicator as daily communication with customers, sales force and other internal stakeholders required - through multiple medias

Ability to problem solve and analyse situations
