You will be expected to have responsibility for:

- Managing projects and maintaining client relationships.
- Assisting with winning work and the development of new business within the water environment team.
- Providing technical guidance, support and training to junior colleagues and assisting, where practicable, in the mentoring and development of others.

- Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) - principals and design (e.g. using WinDes MicroDrainage or Causeway Flow) and green-blue infrastructure planning,
- Working with hydrometric data, analysis of gauging station flow and level records, interpretation and development of ratings curves for gauging stations. Calibration of rainfall-runoff models to match observed rainfall data to gauged flow data
- Low flow studies/droughts assessments.
- Environmental Impact Assessments - water resources and quality, drainage, flood risk, Water Framework Directive assessments.
- GIS software (QGIS/ARC), coding (e.g. Python) and database management will also be a valuable asset.
- Chartered (or near Chartership) with an appropriate professional body.
- Managing, training and mentoring junior staff.

In addition, some experience in the following areas would also be a distinct advantage:

- Water quality assessments and Modelling (including sediment transport).
