Wriggle Marketing work within the fast-paced digital marketing environment, and our clients cover many different sectors and have a range of different needs. We are looking for creative, adventurous and hardworking individuals to join our growing team.

We are a performance-driven digital marketing agency and the business is continuing to grow year on year. We are therefore looking for a Content Strategist to support the SEO team as we grow.

The successful applicant will work directly under our SEO Manager but will be working closely with the wider team to successfully deliver our service offering to clients.

We want the individual to see this as an opportunity to develop their skills and career within the business as it continues to grow. It will be based at our Gosforth office just outside of Newcastle city centre. **This role is part-time (3 days per week) with the idea of becoming full time over the next 6 - 12 months.**

**About The Role**
- Work alongside our SEO Manager to develop content strategies to deliver growth for clients
- Produce quality SEO Optimised long & short form content for clients, be that service/product pages or long form content
- Support the agency’s website & produce insights driven content
- Write press releases for outreach purposes
- Identify areas for improvement in existing content
- Support the development of new websites by analysing gaps in existing content and providing recommendations & new content based on gaps identified

**Skills Required**:

- 2 years experience in writing SEO content
- An ability to research and create digital content for a range of mediums that fits the intended purpose. A strong eye for detail, quality written prose, proofreading ability, and able to adapt their writing style to different tones of voice and context
- Experience in developing content strategies over a 3-6 month time period
- Experience in ideating new content & utilising data to decide what content should be produced
- An understanding of EEAT & Google algorithm ranking factors
- Up to date with trends such as search updates & AI content generation

**Desirables**
- Experience with SEO tools including Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs & Google Sheets
- Experience effectively using AI tools such ChatGPT to supplement content writing
- Experience working in a similar environment, preferably in a Copywriting, digital PR or SEO Content role
- Experience directly communicating with clients & delivering presentations
