This is a temporary Management Accountant role working for a school in Slough. This role would suit someone with management/financial accounts experience.

This Management Accountant role will be working for a growing School in Slough.

**Description**

This temporary Management Accountant position, will involve the following responsibilities:

- To take responsibility for all aspects of finance, payroll and pensions to contribute to the achievement of the educational vision
- To support the Finance Director (FD) in providing accurate and timely information and reporting for the schools
- Preparing relevant statutory compliance documentation and submissions for their schools in line with the requirements of regulatory bodies and agencies
- Day to day management of the finance systems and associated processes, with oversight from the FD, including undertaking monthly reconciliations
- Production of accurate and timely management accounts for each school on a monthly basis
- Provision of financial information and advice to the Head Teacher at each of the academy's schools
- Complete monthly bank reconciliations Monitor budgets including income and expenditures.
- Oversee and line management of the payroll function.
- Undertake any additional duties required by the Finance Director.
- Take responsibility for knowledge of the safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures, and demonstrate commitment to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people in line with these

**Profile**

The ideal Management Accountant will have the following:

- Experience in school finance working with FMS
- Good organisational skills
- A high level of written and spoken English
- A high level of numeracy and financial understanding
- Effective interpersonal skills

**Job Offer**

This role requires you to be in the office 5 days a week.
