**Foundation & Life Skills Academic Mentor - Barnet**
A College in Barnet are looking for a graduate of foundation learning to support their students (ASL) as an teaching assistant October 2024.
**Foundation & Life Skills Course**:
**Foundation Area **achieved grade 1’s and below in their GCSES. Learners may have learning difficulties, an EHCP, behaviour issues or need general support/pastoral care.
Learners work towards BTEC units in the Entry 2 and Entry 3 groups which help support independence and focus on employability skills whilst working towards their progression for the following year whether that is the next level up, supported internship or Employment.

- Communicating with Customers
- Team Challenge
- Presenting to others
**Life Skills**
This area works with learners 16-18 and adults with learning difficulties, working towards BTEC Entry 2 and Entry 3

- Responding to a situation
**The opportunity**:

- Full-time role, Monday - Friday

- £500 - £530 per week (term time only)
