Job Description:
TEK UK Care Solutions is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Carer to join our compassionate team in providing exceptional care services in the United Kingdom. As a Senior Carer, you will play a vital role in leading and supporting a team of caregivers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support to our clients.

**Responsibilities**:
Care Provision: Provide hands-on care and support to clients, assisting with daily activities such as personal hygiene, medication administration, meal preparation, and mobility assistance. Demonstrate expertise in handling complex care needs and medical conditions.

Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of caregivers, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure they deliver care in line with best practices and company standards. Effectively delegate tasks and coordinate schedules to ensure optimal client care.

Care Planning and Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' care needs, developing individualized care plans in collaboration with the client, their family, and healthcare professionals. Regularly review and update care plans to meet changing requirements.

Client Advocacy: Act as an advocate for clients, promoting their rights, choices, and dignity. Ensure that clients' preferences, cultural beliefs, and individual needs are respected and incorporated into their care.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of clients' care plans, progress, and any incidents or changes in condition. Prepare reports as required and communicate effectively with the care management team.

Risk Management: Identify and manage potential risks in the care environment, implementing appropriate measures to ensure the safety and well-being of clients and staff. Adhere to health and safety guidelines and company policies.

Collaboration: Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses, therapists, and doctors, to provide comprehensive care and support. Liaise with clients' families and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and a person-centered approach to care.

Continuous Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in care practices and regulations, attending training sessions and workshops as required. Share knowledge and mentor junior staff to promote continuous improvement within the team.

Qualifications and Requirements:

- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience in a care role, preferably in a senior or supervisory capacity.
- Excellent knowledge of person-centered care practices and relevant legislation.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to improve the lives of others.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make sound decisions.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.00-£12.03 per hour
