**Job Summary**
The SAP Commerce Developer is responsible for managing the development and maintenance of Epson SAP Commerce B2C and B2B portals built on SAP Commerce.
Reporting into the E-Technology Development Manager, you'll be working with our supportive internal team who are dedicated to developing industry leading software solutions on their SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) platform.
This role is based out of our Sales and Marketing Offices, in Hemel Hempstead, UK. with the opportunity to work from home 2/3 days per week.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Development and support of Epson's B2B and B2C portals
- Support and configuration of Epson SAP Cloud services
- Code management via GIT, code reviews and code deployment
- Change and Release management and co-ordination
- Mentor junior SAP Commerce developers within the team
- Resolve problems, business issues and recommend useful configuration
- Perform evaluations of new SAP commerce functionality and upgrades to existing functionality within area of responsibility
- Review design and configuration work of other internal and external consultants to identify and resolve integration issues with related functionality
- Ensure Epson IT standards are adhered to
**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**
- SAP Commerce Developer with 5+ years of project experience, worked at least minimum of 3 Hybris end-to-end integration projects
- Knowledge of SAP Hybris B2B accelerator
- Knowledge of SAP Cloud hosting and deployments
- Knowledge of headless CMS work (ideally Amplience CMS)
- 5+ Years Java and Spring knowledge
- Some understanding of HTML5, CSS and JavaScript
- Exposure to build process - Ant, Gradle
- Working knowledge of Git code repositories (GitHub, BitBucket etc)
- Experience of SAP CPI and SAP ERP integration - exposure to replicating B2B customer, Material, Price Row, Orders, Stock Level, OMS, Cart, Classification and Invoice to SAP Commerce Cloud systems would be advantageous
- Experience of Agile project delivery including having worked with JIRA tools
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems
- Proven project management skills
- Strong technical understanding and the ability to communicate technical information efficiently to peers and non-technical people
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Analytical and results focused
- Experience of both coordinating and of solving problems
