**Salary**: £30,500

**Hours**: Full time, 37.5 hours per week with hybrid office working and would require you in the Bradford office 1-2 days per week

**About the role**

Reporting into the Design Manager, we have an exciting opportunity for a Designer to join our team.

The postholder will be responsible for the execution of effective creative design and multimedia across Anchor services in line with requirements.

You will be expected to work closely with members of the Communications & Marketing Leadership Team to ensure an integrated campaigns-focussed approach across the directorate.

You will also be expected to work with relevant colleagues in sales, care homes and housing.

It is expected that you will be able to think creatively to develop materials which meet business objectives, based on customer insight and can develop innovative evidence-based solutions in a complex and fast-evolving environment

Duties and responsibilities will include:

- Produce and update design and artwork for a wide range of projects/campaigns across all Anchor products, including - but not limited to - advertising, print, digital, video and animation
- Provide high standards of layout and typography in a quality product that is fit for purpose and within brand guidelines
- Provide work-flow management, proofreading, quality control, job scoping, time management, trouble shooting, and creative management as requested
- Liaise with suppliers and stakeholders i.e. printers, media agency and internal clients supplying proofs and print ready artwork as required.

**About you**

You will have
- Design and artwork skills
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)
- Demonstrable experience of work across advertising, print, digital and multimedia (particularly video)
- Managing workflow
- Working with clients and agencies/suppliers
- Proofreading and quality control
- Strong skills in negotiation and persuasion
- Strong commitment to, and understanding of, confidentiality
- Understanding of how to act commercially within a not-for-profit business
- Understanding of design and marketing principles and the ability to translate theory into practice which drives business performance
- Awareness of the latest design and marketing trends
- Ability to produce high-quality multi-media marketing materials to tight deadlines.
- Understanding of legal obligations with respect to marketing, including GDPR
- Ability to understand how design should reflect the specific needs of our customer base.
