**LCA Senior Consultant**

**The Person**

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced life cycle assessment (LCA) specialist who’s passionate about making a difference.
- 5+ years’ experience in conducting complex LCAs to recognised standards (e.g. PAS 2050)
- Proven experience in LCA platforms and toolsets (e.g. SIMAPRO, GABI, EcoInvent, Etool)
- Deep understanding of how LCA links with corporate Scope 3 emissions reporting
- Desire to grow and make a difference, you are looking to develop market leading LCA services
- Academic or professional qualifications in LCA or related topics

A good communicator with the ability to lead a team of LCA analysts and work across teams to drive progress and results for clients. You will be comfortable leading the development of our LCA product offering, delivering LCAs results that drive impact for our clients, and interacting with a diverse set of stakeholders, including clients and Ci’s Executive Team.

Commercially minded, you will have an eye for detail and the ability to visualise solutions to client and supplier challenges.

**The Role**

We are seeing significant interest and growth in our LCA services. Product labelling and asset level LCA demand is growing as companies seek improved transparency of their impacts and what to do about them. As Scope 3 regulation and disclosures increase, accuracy and rigour in measurement of emissions becomes increasingly important and essential for our clients to get right. It also enables how our clients communicate their impacts to their customers and consumers.

**As the LCA specialist, you will be responsible for**:

- Lead LCA consultancy services delivery for Carbon Intelligence across all market sectors
- Lead the delivery of complex LCAs for our clients including, client and project management, developing system boundaries, data collection, setting workflows (inputs/outputs), emissions modelling, results, analysis, and quality assurance
- Develop high-quality, engaging reports and presentations to communicate LCA results and drive impact
- Lead a team of LCA analysts and develop plans to grow the team over the next year
- Develop and maintain our suite of LCA product offerings to ensure leading edge LCA approaches are used
- Monitor LCA trends and present innovation opportunities to the business
- Provide guidance, insights, and training on LCA across the business through your role as senior technical expert
- Support LCA business development and position LCA with our Sales and Marketing teams as a strategic service to our clients
