Assistant Psychologist - Integrated Mental Health Team

Hours, 30 hours - 12 month fixed term contract.

**Base**: Horninglow Clinic, Burton on Trent (Integrated Mental Health Team East Staffs - Burton & Uttoxeter).

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Assistant Psychologist to join the Integrated Mental Health Team in Burton and Uttoxeter. You will join a developing and innovative service that aims to provide the right care and treatment at the right time, to individuals within the East Staffs Neighbourhood. You will become part of an established multi-disciplinary team that has a strong emphasis on delivering evidence based psychological interventions to meet the needs of individuals with secondary mental health needs within our neighbourhood.

The role is varied and provides opportunity to build upon clinical skills, develop and implement group interventions, utilise service evaluation and research skills and develop multidisciplinary team working skills; therefore good time keeping skills and being able to manage multiple, competing demands are essential to the role. This post would provide an ideal basis for individuals wishing to pursue Doctoral training in Clinical Psychology. Further training and CPD opportunities are accessible within this role.

You will join a diverse and supportive group of psychological practitioners, within a service committed to ongoing professional development for staff. The role is based in the Horninglow Clinic in Burton on Trent, however there is also an expectation to travel to Uttoxeter within this role. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is likely that there will be a mixture of some remote/online working.
