Catch Scotland Limited offers transitional care and learning experiences tailored to meeting the needs of Young Adults with a range of Additional Support Needs between the ages of 16-25 (many of whom are care experienced).
With a robust and expanding staff team, we are looking to recruit an **HR Assistant **to help with the day to day running of the HR function providing assistance across the recruitment process, compliance checks and assisting with all general HR issues and queries.
**Responsibilities will include**:
- Assisting the HR Manager through disciplinary, grievance and performance management.
- Assisting with updating current policies and procedures and creating new ones as and when required.
- Assisting the recruitment process inline with ‘Safer Recruitment for Better Recruitment’ guidelines.
- Updating staff files on inhouse system and managing the new start process end to end.
- Administration of all HR related paperwork, including producing letters and uploading forms.
- Assisting with and new and recurring SSSC registrations.
- Assisting with the processing of new starters, leavers and contractual changes.
- Assisting with arranging internal training and managing training attendance records.
- Assisting with a variety of HR and employment related enquiries in a professional and timely manner from employees and management.
- Assisting with carrying out PDRs and uploading onto staff files.
- Supporting the HR Manager with day to day administration.
**Qualifications and skills**:
- Minimum 2 years experience in an HR Assistant role.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with employees at all levels.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of HR administration.
- Excellent working knowledge of Excel and MS Office.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: £18,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 12 per week
