**About Us**

At Sunny Days we believe that childhood should be filled with mud pies, fairy hunts, and endless wonder. Nestled in the great outdoors, our nursery embraces nature-based learning, spending as much time as we can outside, but we also have a well-equipped cosy indoor classroom that serves as our base for adventures. In addition, we have a playground, a dedicated forest school classroom, a large field, and acres of woodland to explore.

Our setting provides the perfect balance of structured learning and free exploration, encouraging children to develop confidence, resilience, and a deep connection with nature.

We’re looking for a fun, energetic, and nurturing Early Years Adventurer to join our team and embrace a truly unique environment—one where your ‘classroom’ extends beyond four walls into the wonders of nature. Whether it’s sharing our setting with wildlife, leading story time under a canopy of trees, or enjoying the freedom of open-air learning, this role offers a refreshing change.

**Your Mission (Should You Choose to Accept It)**
- Be a champion of curiosity, leading little explorers through the wonders of nature, from making delicious mud pies to splashing in puddles.
- Plan and implement magical, age-appropriate activities that support children’s development in a natural environment.
- Observe, assess, and celebrate each child’s progress - whether they’ve learned to count to ten or joyfully jumped their way into a muddy puddle
- Develop strong relationships with parents and caregivers, keeping them updated on their child’s adventures and achievements.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care, whether they’re pretending to be pirates, giants, or Gruffalos.
- Work as part of a fun, supportive, and creative team to create a positive and enriching environment for children

**About You**
- You love fresh air and can handle all seasons - from golden autumn leaves to unexpected spring downpours.
- You have an endless enthusiasm for pretend ice cream, no matter the flavour of the day.
- You’re patient, kind, and nurturing, with a deep understanding of child development and the EYFS framework.
- You can turn a stick into a magic wand, a cardboard box into a spaceship, and a rainy day into an adventure.
- You have a Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification and at least two years of experience working in an Early Years setting
- Your communication and interpersonal skills are top-notch, and you have a valid DBS check.

Total 27 or 30 hours (3 x 9 or 10 hour shifts) Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 27 per week
