**Schedule Options**
- **Option 1**: Monday to Friday, from **9 am to 1 pm**.
- **Option 2**: 2 to 3 days per week, from **9:30 am to 4 pm**.

The family offers a 20-hour per week contract and is flexible. The nanny can choose between mainly morning hours or longer days, depending on her preference.Hourly rate: £21 gross/hour.

**Nanny Duties**
- Caring for the baby (feeding, naps, activities, nappy changes).
- Responding to the baby’s cues to respect their natural rhythm.
- Taking the baby and taking dog out for quick potty business, as needed.
- Engaging the baby with age-appropriate developmental activities.
- Supporting the baby’s **language development** by speaking exclusively in **French or Spanish**, while maintaining clear and fluent communication in **English** with the parents.
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment for the baby.
- **Previous experience with newborns is essential**.
- Fluent in **French or Spanish**, with **good English communication skills** to interact with the family.
- Warm, caring, and supportive of the family’s parenting philosophy.
- Able to guide and support parents in fostering the baby’s development.
- Comfortable with animals (family dog).

**Requirements**:

- **First Aid certification** (up to date).
- **DBS** check (valid and current).
- **References** (up-to-date and verifiable).

**Parenting Philosophy**

The family is still developing their parenting style, but their current approach is based on **positive reinforcement** and teaching the child to be respectful. They aim to follow the baby’s cues for feeding and naps at this stage. The parents are looking for a nanny with experience to help them improve as parents and naturally integrate the baby into their lifestyle. While the family does not believe in physical punishment, they are open to verbal scolding for inappropriate behaviour as the child grows older and learns the difference between right and wrong.
