We are looking for a part-time secondary tutor of mathematics (up to GCSE) to join the team in our bright, modern centre in Wath upon Dearne, north of Rotherham. We have an excellent local reputation for student results, and students who don't flourish in a school environment, do so here. You will have your own students, no more than four at a time, and tutoring materials and equipment are all provided. Full training and induction are given.
We pay competitive rates. You will earn £28.00-46.00 for a 1 hour lesson. Tutors give brief written feedback after lessons. No long reports to write. Hours are by mutual arrangement. Most of our students attend the centre weekly.
You must be fully qualified and experienced in teaching in an English school, with at least five years of verifiable experience. We are OFSTED registered and require all staff to have an enhanced DBS certificate. To be a Kip tutor with us you need to be professional, approachable, have a positive and supportive outlook, work sensitively as part of a team and be able to relate to your students and their individual needs.
