**Job Summary**:
My client is a leading Environmental and Engineering Consulting company who are looking for a **Principal Geotechnical Engineer** to join the Environmental and Engineering team due to a workload increase and increased client offering.

You will be a **technical lead** and providing the team with your Geotechnical expertise on the geotechnical aspects of projects.

This role would suit someone who doesn't want line management/team responsibilities and instead likes to focus on the technical work. You will however provide guidance through some mentoring, upskilling and checking of reports.

You will be joining a client that places an emphasis on training and developing your skillset and encouraging CPD. They also place an emphasis on a friendly collaborative team culture so that you enjoy your time at work

**Requirements**:

- BSc Geology / MSc Engineering Geology, MSc Geotechnical Engineering or similar
- 8+ years experience
- Chartership

- A proactive and independent thinker with an enthusiastic approach to work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong Interpretive Geotechnical Skillset

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Project Management
- Client Liaison and Commercial
- Technical Reporting - Interpretive Geotechnical
- Mentoring/Upskilling juniors
