**Location**: either Milton Keynes or London, with remote working available. International Travel is to be expected.

Advantage Resourcing are recruiting on behalf of our internationally renowned telecoms client for a permanent opportunity as a Demand Manager to provide management and control for all portfolio demand requests coming into the central portfolio team fromthe international business units.

Our client addresses the network and connectivity requirements of global customers. They do this through the design, implementation, and management of secure custom-designed solutions and related managed services, which could be through the use of SD-WAN,LAN infrastructure, Unified Communication & Collaboration, or Security (including SASE).

Responsibilities of a Demand Manager
- Responsible for the management, ongoing tracking and associated reporting of new portfolio demands from the international countries. The Demand Management function has direct responsibility from receipt of the demand request to the confirmation of deliveryof the portfolio update (or associated rejection of the request with explanation).
- Act as primary interface towards the international business units for all portfolio demand requests and related issues.
- Act as part of the international portfolio team working together to satisfy portfolio requirements.
- Coordinates the use of all resources required to produce, accept, or reject requests for portfolio development demands.
- Provide thought leadership in creation of new portfolio demand management process and its ongoing maintenance.
- Actively participate in the development of positive relations between central portfolio and the international countries.
- Has direct alignment with VP International Portfolio Management to ensure successful evolution of the Portfolio demand management function

Experience
- Excellent Customer Facing skills
- Experience of working with multiple business functions:

- Sales & Specialised Sales
- Product Development
- Proven experience in understanding complex business structures, drivers, influences including the political and financial challenges of the business.
- Ability to analyse and evaluate business plans into a strategy.
- Ability to influence and strong negotiation skills
- Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- The ability to identify, define and set goals and influence others to achieve these goals.
- Ability to manage in a matrix environment
- Good problem-solving skills
- Understanding of the telecoms sector and its related services, with a focus on networks and connectivity
- Previous experience working in a similar capacity in an outsource or similar supplier organisation
- Good understanding of commercial IT and its use by major corporations
- Demonstrable knowledge of an industry standard project methodology
