At Rrells Cleaning Services Ltd we are currently recruiting for a Housekeeper for a Private Hospital in Rotherham. **Working Hours: 8 Hours per shift ( Including 30mins break) 28 hours per week. Rolling rota including alternate weekends.**

**As a Housekeeper your responsibilities will be**:
**Maintain high hospital standards by ensuring all areas are clean, presentable and safe for visitors by following the required policies and procedures.**
- To keep the Hospital environment clean, hazard free and tidy. This involves cleaning of equipment, service users’ bedrooms, toilets, nurses’ stations, corridors and safe disposal of rubbish bins and by carrying out all cleaning duties in accordance with worksheet instructions for daily, weekly, monthly
- Working as part of a team alongside the Lead Housekeeper
- You will be working under the supervision of Lead housekeeper.
- Under the supervision of the Managing director of the company, you will be able to organise sufficient levels of materials and supplies for cleaning with budgetary control in mind
- Ensuring that the Company Policy on Infection Control and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) are followed and adhered to at all times.
- Thoroughly cleaning and disinfection of vacated rooms ready for re-occupation.
- Complete all paperwork of tasks completed before the end of the shift.
- Make sure all your trainings are up to date including COSHH etc.
- Required to have Housekeeping experience of working in a hospital setting. **Able to communicate effectively with staff and service users, verbally and in writing**:

- Able to work at times under pressure, at your own initiative.
- A team player who engages well with others at any given point.
- Polite and courteous, energetic and outgoing
- Able to contribute positively towards enriching and enhancing of quality for all service users
- Able to adapt and being flexible to cover or complete emergency tasks on short notice
- To be good at being organised, time keeping and also keeping good vibes around work colleagues and service users.

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- housekeeping: 1 year (preferred)
- Housekeeping/Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
