**Responsibilities**:

- Offer technical assistance and guidance to the wider team and project developers throughout the project life cycle.
- Develop and maintain relationships with Transmission System Operators (TSOs), Distribution Network Operators (DNOs), and government agencies involved in the grid connections process.
- Conduct grid connection feasibility studies and contribute to the formulation and execution of the grid connection strategy for both existing and new opportunities.
- Interpret Grid Code and Distribution Code requirements and ensure compliance throughout the connection process.
- Provide specialized support to the Development and Grid project teams, encompassing Connection and Use of System Code, Balancing and Settlement Code, Security and Quality of Supply Standard, and generation, distribution, and transmission licensing arrangements, as well as other relevant grid documentation.
- Foster synergy among different technologies within the portfolio.
- Identify the need for external consultancy support, oversee the technical aspects of procurement, and assess proposals.
- Conduct specialized technical analyses to support the development team.

**Qualifications**:

- A degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as Engineering, Environmental Studies, or relevant experience.
- Extensive experience in grid connection for large-scale renewable generation projects or previous grid connection roles.
- Strong technical knowledge of electricity transmission and distribution systems, including associated challenges.
- Familiarity with key aspects of applicable regulatory regimes.
- Proficiency in wind/solar farms, battery storage assets, distribution and transmission assets, and electrical system design processes and techniques.
- Excellent communication skills in English.

**Desirable**: Experience and/or qualification in Power Systems Engineering.
