**You and your team**
As a Risk Assessment Lead at Vanquis you will be responsible for educating and influencing COO leadership, management and suppliers on key regulatory developments and risk exposure.
Under the direction of our Senior Risk Assessment Manager, you will work to ensure that regulatory change is implemented promptly and correctly, and that initiatives that have an impact on the COO's risk assessment and control design are given top priority and are executed flawlessly.
**In your day to day role you will**
- Drive Risk Assessment best practice and adherence to Group Standards.
- Through research and attendance at key industry meetings be the source of key internal and external information in order to lead on emerging external and internal risks impacting COO.
- Lead on risk assessment and requirements for Regulatory Projects.
- Lead on risk impact assessment and new control design from changes to Risk Profile from Change Projects impacting COO.
- Manage a stakeholder network effectively to deliver results in a collaborative way, whilst maintaining the integrity of the overall function and COO
**What you’ll bring to the team**
Working in Risk and Control at Vanquis you will work to reduce risk exposure through excellent risk assessment and control design. To be successful in this role, the following skills and experience is required:
- Have an in depth knowledge and expertise of Risk Management within financial services.
- Good knowledge of the set up and routine operations within COO.
- Excellent knowledge of 3rd Party providers to COO including contractual set up, governance and routine operations
- Brilliant stakeholder manager and building strong relationships.
- Excellent at assessing large volumes of information and presenting key points concisely
- A proven track record in risk assessment and impactful influencing
- To be highly experienced on regulatory and industry engagement and participation on working groups.
