Colour Riot nails shoreditch is seeking a friendly and capable Receptionist to assist in everyday running of our salon. You will be responsible for greeting our clients, ensuring the efficient running of the reception desk, and assisting with operations within the salon.. Ideally you will have experience performing nail treatments when needed. This is a full time position of 4-5 days per week including weekends with one weekend off per month. As Receptionist your key responsibilities will include: - To manage the bookings system - to add, delete or amend appointments at Client request - Manage team - To sell gift cards and allocate them to Client accounts - To assist with occasional stock takes and input new stock - To sell retail products - To undertake responsibilities as "Key Holder" for the premises, as and when necessary during your shifts - To monitor and maintain stocks of salon refreshments - To handle the washing and drying of salon linens - To make refreshments for Clients - To wash and store crockery at the end of your shift - To support Therapists, assisting with general duties such as taking their Client’s bill if they have a Client waiting etc. - Opening and closing of the salon. - A good telephone manner - Good knowledge and experience with salon booking systems Treatwell and Fresha essential - confident yet stern - Accurate record-keeping skills - Good interpersonal skills - The ability to work well as part of a team - Good spoken and written English - Bubbly personality - Can work well alone - good multitasking skills - good organisation skills - quick learner At least 1 year salon experience needed.
