We’re looking for a talented Social Media Executive to join a leading not-for-profit organisation in a newly created role where you will plan and implement campaigns to drive awareness and fundraising. This role would be perfect for someone who is a real social media specialist with a passion for purpose driven businesses and charitable work.

**What you’ll be doing**

As the Social Media Executive you’ll play a key role within the content marketing department and drive the creation and execution of the social media strategy (mainly organic with some paid) with the aim of focusing on new and growing areas of income and by supporting a new initiative programmed.

You’ll work across all social channels and work closely with other internal teams to identify appropriate fundraising opportunities and support these with creative campaigns and work with others to generate appropriate content the publish through social channels. You also will work on content creation including capturing and editing images and videos.

As part of the full social campaign cycle you will analyse the success of all campaigns and will report back to the rest of the team as well as optimising these to generate better results.

**What experience you’ll need**
- Experience in a Social Media specialist roles or a digital marketing role with a social focus
- Proven track record in delivering successful social media campaigns from strategy through to implementation
- Previous experience working for a not-for-profit organisation or fundraising experience outside of work
- Organic and paid social experience
- Sound copywriting skills with great attention to detail
- Day to day management of LinkedIn Twitter Facebook and Instagram channels
- To be highly organised self-motivated and a real team player
- A creative mind with good problem-solving skills
